How It's Produced

Filming your Wedding or Party

Video formats vary considerably in quality, from domestic VHS through to digital broadcast quality.  JM Video uses Sony digital DVCAM  professional cameras to film your wedding or party.  This high quality broadcast format ensures you get the best possible picture quality, both in terms of definition and colour saturation.

Sound quality - often taken for granted - is very important in a video.  To ensure that the vows and speeches are captured with the 'sweetest' sound possible, professional radio microphones are used where possible.

Editing your Video

Once the filming is completed, the footage is digitized into a powerful computer ready for editing.  The editing process, using a non-linear editing program called Adobe Premiere, takes around four days to complete, with a lot of attention paid to sound issues as well as video to achieve a quality result.

The Finished Video

The completed video in DVD format is attractively presented with suitably titled labels in a case with stills, front and rear, taken from the video itself.  They make an ideal gift for everyone involved in the wedding, such as the Bridesmaids and Pages.  NTSC (USA) and SECAM (France) conversions are readily available.
